b.wing’s First Solo Exhibition: After a successful Tokyo show last year, artist b.wing brings her work back to Hong Kong to hold her first solo exhibition in JPS Gallery Hong Kong, It’s time for Plan b. A mirror of her psyche, the exhibition features works the artist created during the multiple lockdowns this city has endured. Behind the innocent eyes of b.wing’s characters is the artist’s frustration and discontent towards the city’s ineffective policies, shared by many of the city’s people during quarantine.

In hopes to encourage fellow Hong Kongers during this difficult time, the artist’s paintings are set in an optimistic undertone, reflected by the fluid use of color and light, while telling her characters’ stories of self-alleviation living in the age of social unrest and pandemic.
