A Cultural Exchange Between East and West: Bauhinia Culture Group joins hand with the China Young Leaders Foundation and Tsi Ku Chai to launch Art Hong Kong, its first international art gala. Titled “Tradition and modernity”, the exhibition features works from masters of modern Chinese arts including Wu Guanzhong, Lin Fengmian, Xu Beihong, Chen Shuren, Fu Baoshi and Qi Baishi, while also presenting works from contemporary artists Wang Tiande, Lam Tianxing, Hao Liang, Zhang Enli, Zhang Yanzi, Liang Yuanwei, Liu Jianhua and Xie Xiaoze.

Audiences are also welcome in the gala’s forums to hear first hand from Pi Li, Sigg Senior Curator and Head of Curatorial Affairs at M+; Jay Xu, Director and CEO of the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco; Yang Zhigang, former Director of the Shanghai Museum; Louis Ng, Museum Director of the Hong Kong Palace Museum; and other pioneers in the industry on the art and cultural exchanges between Hong Kong, the Mainland and beyond.
