Turning Japanese: Hot on the heels of the success of its Spanish aqua nuevo pop-up, Statement is hosting another exciting culinary event—this time, of the Japanese variety. aqua kyoto brings Aqua Restaurant Group’s popular Japanese concept from London to the heart of Hong Kong. The limited-time pop-up features a host of decadent Japanese dishes including Salmon, beetroot & sea buckthorn berry maki ($148), Salmon and smoked daikon maki ($138), Cured red snapper with truffle ($118), Wagyu beef gyoza ($98), and Slow-cooked pork belly with eel ($228). On weekends, the aqua kyoto pop-up will throw a Kanpai Brunch, which features yakitori skewers, tempura, Japanese sandos, and a host of other exciting dishes—a Light Brunch featuring a curated selection of popular plates is also available.

When? Available now; Weekdays 6pm-10pm; Kanpai Brunch on weekends from 12pm-4pm; Light Brunch on Fridays 12pm-4pm.
