Spring Flowers: “In Bloom” is Tai Kwun’s reinterpretation of a traditional flower market, bringing together local botanists, upcycling brands, as well as food brands to celebrate the arrival of spring. Look out for HK TimberBank, a social enterprise that upcycles typhoon felled trees and local botanists like Origami Florist and Ovogarden. Tai Kwun’s many shops will also be offering exclusive in bloom offers during the “In Bloom” event.
Phoenix Sweets has created a variety of flower-themed cupcakes and cookies, while Touch Ceramics will present the “Flower Tour – Flower Life Aesthetics” Exhibition, showcasing works from Japanese and Taiwanese ceramicists. Other than admiring flowers, you can also savour the taste of the Spring blooms. Enjoy a Chinese-style panna cotta made with floral jasmine tea at The Chinese Library, or indulge in the brand new Botanical Afternoon Tea inspired by fruits and flowers at Statement.
