Feline Fantasy: Hong Kong born-and-raised illustrator Albee Yau is beloved on instagram for her dreamy pastel color palette and fantastical illustrations of landscape, people and animals. In her first solo exhibition “A daily dose of magical meow”, the illustrator will be presenting original artwork of cats she encounters along the streets of Hong Kong. Cats taking a nap in shops, cat peeking out from behind a bush, cats strolling on the streets — Yau describes these feline encounters as “a moment of magic,” for they are to her a seasoning that adds something extra to everyday life. The exhibition hopes to capture and share these moments of joy with the viewers. Some of the original artworks as well as a selection of merchandise will be available for purchase.
