Anti-gravity yoga instructor, Epic MMA Club
Tamer Begum got his first taste of anti-gravity aerial yoga when his uncle set up two anti-gravity hammocks at his mother’s house in Salt Lake City, Utah.
“I had no idea what they were at the time, other than fun to play in, swing, and flip on,” he recalls. Little did Begum know that these silky hammocks would launch his career and later lead him to Hong Kong.
His uncle, Christopher Harrison is the founder of AntiGravity Inc, and inspired Begum to take up the practice. Begum worked at the AntiGravity Fitness headquarters in New York City before moving to Hong Kong in January 2014.
“As an anti-gravity fitness master trainer, I think my niche is just that. I am an expert in the aerial fitness yoga techniques, trained by the original company who invented the genre.”
An anti-gravity instructor at Epic MMA Club, Begum has been one of the driving forces behind the anti-gravity expansion in Asia.
His very first job? Selling Segway rides around New York City.
