Hong Kong 30 Under 30 2015

Founder, Style Regime consulting agency and PI’A fashion label

Priscilla I’Anson was already killing it as a stylist and creative consultant when she founded fashion label PI’A earlier this year.

Back in 2011, the Taiwanese-Australian Hongkonger established consulting agency Style Regime, offering creative and branding services for an illustrious list of clients.

I’Anson made her start in the industry as a buyer for Pedder Group in 2010 after a chance meeting with its vice president, and also blogged for fashion branding consultancy Electric Sekki from 2011 to 2014.

Stay hungry and humble. It’s very easy to develop an ego and become difficult to work with. Your work suffers so much if you allow that to happen.

But back to her latest achievement: How did PI’A come about? “Everyone seems to have forgotten about making a well-cut, comfortable pair of black trousers, or a nice double-breasted blazer.”

The label will deliver classic pieces with a modern twist. Meanwhile, I’Anson is also working as a fashion director for the upcoming season of Asia’s Next Top Model.

Her very first job? Working for her father, transcribing UNAIDS interviews in 2006.
