Yoga teacher, event planner and Yoogaia content manager
Former public relations guru Marsha Ho caught the attention of Finland-based online yoga studio Yoogaia after organizing a number of major wellness events in Hong Kong, including Stretch Saturday and Asia’s largest outdoor public yoga event OmTogether at the Central Harbourfront.
Ho launched Yoogaia’s Asia hub with her partner Miko Bantigue, moving from a glittering career in PR to full-on dedication to yoga. Yoogaia offers live yoga classes streamed online, so devoted yogis and yoga newbies can practice in the comfort of their own homes.
“My life changed after my first yoga class,” Ho says. “I have started living healthily and become more environmentally conscious — and just generally a more content person.”
Meanwhile, Ho and Bantigue are still putting on killer events. They broke their own attendance records this past August when they organized the 2015 edition of outdoor yoga event #OMFest, attracting more than 1,000 attendees.
Her very first job? Ho worked as a PR executive at Edelman Hong Kong.
