Owner of Crafty Cow, TV host and fashion maven Giselle Lam has seen a string of successes in recent years. Lam’s showbiz career kicked off after she participated in the Miss Hong Kong pageant in 2011.

A TV host of Insider TV, Lam’s passion for entertainment goes way back to university, where she performed at shows as an MC as well as a street dancer.

In 2014, Lam ventured into the food and beverage industry when she opened steak and craft beer joint Crafty Cow. It was the right time and the right venue, Lam says, but the food is the most important part.

“The main reason in branching out to F&B is simply because I love to eat!” Priding itself as an eatery offering “third culture dining,” Crafty Cow offers unexpected fusion dishes like bone marrow with Sichuan peppers, as well as an impressive selection of craft beers.

Aside from her ventures in F&B and entertainment, Lam is also the founder of fashion website, The Swanker where she documents her travels, dining finds and covetable style.

Her very first job? Lam’s first job was as a visual merchandiser at Joyce.
