Co-founder, YEECHOO.com
Abby Zhang started YEECHOO two years ago with business partner Shan Shan after they found themselves standing in front of a closet full of clothes, not knowing what to wear.
“We realize that women spend lots of money buying designer dresses — but only end up wearing them once or twice.” The two looked to create a “constantly changing, boundless wardrobe” whereby women can enjoy short-term ownership of designer dresses at a fraction of the retail prices — and YEECHOO.com was born.
The Putonghua word for “closet”, YEECHOO also sounds like “you choose” in English. More than 60 brands are on offer, with thousands of dresses, accessories and bags to choose from.
“Stay open-minded and use critical thinking about everything, including your own business model which you might firmly believe in.”
