This 19th century Hakka village was categorized as a monument along with the nearby lime kiln in 1981, and restored and transformed into a museum in 1984. The 5,400sqft Shang Yiu Folk Museum is located within Sai Kung Country Park along the picturesque Pak Tam Chung Country Trail, so why not go for a leisurely hike before exploring what the museum has to offer?
