Get ready to queue, Hong Kong! After the arrival of Shake Shack and the occasional In-N-Out, we are ready for another American burger contender to beef up the scene. Enter Five Guys.
Originally founded in Washington in 1986, Five Guys is known and loved for its burgers and shakes. And for the abundance of free peanuts on offer at all its outlets. Having been voted America’s favourite burger chain, beating even In-N-Out, we are hoping that the Hong Kong branch – the first in Asia – can live up to its reputation.
You can already check out the menu on the website. It seems to have all the signature offerings, including hot dogs, burgers and sandwiches, just like the US.
With no confirmed dates, we are eagerly keeping our eyes on the Wanchai location on Johnston Road (next to The Pawn) for any new movements in the fall.
