Although we love an indulgent foodie theme and a stylish stay at The Langham, plus some outdoor time camping, it’s also fun to find some of the lesser-known steals. Here are some of the coolest unique staycations in Hong Kong that you have probably not tried yet.

Glamping – at WM Hotel in Sai Kung

WM Hotel opened in Sai Kung last year, offering a nature escape in its pretty waterfront location. We’ve done some glamping and also endless staycations, but how about glamping at a hotel? It’s a first for us too, but it’s certainly unique. This package includes accommodation in the sea view room with access to the private rooftop, where your glamping gear awaits. It’s up to you where you decide to snooze – we’ll be out for the sunset and sunrise for sure though.

Okay, so this one is more of a dream destination – since you’ll need a cool HK$2 million to register for the membership first. If you are lucky enough to be a member, then this is a not-so-casual option to get away from the city for a while.
