Eaton HK, the eco-friendly hotel in Jordan, Kowloon, is launching an expanded vegetarian menu across its dining options, including a premium vegetarian set menu at Michelin-starred Yat Tung Heen!
The new plant-based menu features more than 20 dishes in the hotel’s many dining establishments. The Michelin-starred Yat Tung Heen’s brand new Vegetarian Set Menu is priced at HK$820. Diners will be sampling creative uses of alternative meat Omnipork as well as ingredients like lily bulbs, cordyceps flower, and morel mushrooms.
Beginning with a plant-based take on the restaurant’s classic trio of appetisers — Deep-fried Crispy Beancurd Sheet Roll Stuffed with Omnipork Strips, and Pan-fried Beancurd with Chili Sauce and Minced Omnipork, the course then showcases the chef’s incredible finesse with Double -boiled Matsutake Mushroom Soup with Cordyceps Flower, and Morel Mushroom Bamboo Pith and Assorted Fungus.
Serving one of the best buffets in the city, the Astor is also debuting a dedicated vegetarian counter with fun dishes like Korean-inspired Rice Cakes loaded with cheese sauce and spicy-fried Omnipork.
