Island Shangri-La presents its reimagined dining experiences at Summer Palace, Lobster Bar, and Lobby Lounge, designed to captivate your visual, olfactory, and gustatory senses. The Michelin-starred Summer Palace offers an exquisite 6-course tasting menu with the best-picked quality ingredients in town, along with a master cooking class with Executive Chinese Chef Leung Yu-king. Lobby Lounge’s ‘Find Your Shangri-La’ Afternoon Tea takes you on a fantastical gastronomic voyage, while Lobster Bar’s specially designed cocktails, including The Daydreamer and Taste of Eden, promise to inspire and delight your senses. Shangri-La Circle members can enjoy two complimentary mocktails and cocktails every 6th of the month from June till December 2023.

DarkSide at Rosewood Hong Kong introduces a new ‘Classics from the ’90s’ cocktail menu, featuring eight modern classics that defined the decade. The menu includes iconic drinks such as the Midori Sour, Rosita, and Cable Car, recreated with high-quality ingredients and award-winning flair. The cocktail creations can be enjoyed alongside live music performances every evening from 8 pm. DarkSide also serves The Art of Mahjong cocktail list, inspired by the iconic tile-based game. Cocktails are priced at HKD170 plus a 10% service charge.

The Praya, a new contemporary Cantonese restaurant, has opened at One-Eight-One Hotel in Shek Tong Tsui. The menu offers traditional dishes with a modern twist, using locally sourced ingredients and pickled additions from Head Chef Samuel Ng’s personal collection. The restaurant’s interiors are inspired by Bauhaus design, infused with nostalgic elements of old Hong Kong. The Praya also offers signature cocktails based on the five elements of Chinese philosophy, crafted by Beverage Manager Paul Chan.
