Known for its creative sweet treats and flaky croissants, Dang Wen Li by Dominique Ansel first opened shop in Tsim Sha Tsui. It’s now opening up its first island shop in Central’s H Queen.

The 3,000-square-foot shop has a separate takeaway and dine-in area, where you can enjoy the creations of French celebrity pastry chef Dominique Ansel. Other than classics like iconic DKA (Dominique’s Kouign Amann), croissants and cakes, make sure to order the H Queen-exclusive Hong Kong Satay Beef Waffle. Inspired by the Hong Kong classic satay beef, this brand new savory treat is a peanut-shaped waffle with tender satay beef inside, topped with a homemade peanut sauce.

To celebrate the new opening, the Central shop will also offer one of Chef Dominique’s iconic New York creations — the Frozen S’more — for a limited time from June 7 to 20. The beloved treat comes with the perfect layering of smoked marshmallow, crispy chocolate, and cold vanilla ice-cream.

The bakery is also launching new croissant toasts in two flavors: sea salt and maple. The croissant toasts come in a loaf, and feature a firm crust with buttery and flaky layers inside.
