Do you find yourself strangely fascinated by durian’s pungent scent and rich flavor? Every year from June until August is the peak season for Malaysian durians, which is known for its premium quality and creamy texture. To celebrate the onset of durian season, Dulicious Durian is hosting a durian buffet at Wan Chai’s Pier 1929.
The 90-minute all-you-can-eat will serve five types of premium AAA grade Malaysian durians, including Musang King, D175 Red Prawn, D163 Holu, and two daily selections. Musang King durians are known for its rich, creamy texture, and complex flavor profile The D163 Red Prawn boasts an even more intense taste and a thick, buttery mouthfeel, while D175 Holu has a firmer texture and notes of chocolate.
The seasonal offer will take place from June 30 to July 11. The buffet is priced at $680 per person with four sessions every day. There is also a promotional offer of $580 per person for the 12nn to 1:30pm time slot on Mondays and Thursdays.
