When he was back at the North Pole, he realized he didn’t fit in with all the other elves – he was tall, like really tall compared to other elves. The Grinch is an unconventional Christmas tale about a green creature that lives just outside of Whoville. He is feared by the civilians of Whoville because of his sour and negative attitude toward the holiday season. However, his tone soon changes when he meets 6-year-old Cindy Lou Who, who might just change his mind. Maybe some of us can relate to The Grinch, right?

This Christmas (2007) starring Regina King, Chris Brown & Idris Elba, is definitely a funny & feel-good movie to add to your list. The Whitfield family celebrates Christmas for the first time together in 4 years, and things take a hilarious toll when their family bond is tested.

Okay, Daddy’s Home 2 isn’t part of the typical Christmas movies but it’s set around the holiday season so it counts as a Christmas movie right? Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg star in this comedy duo, where they are visited by their fathers who have completely opposite personalities. You’re definitely not going to regret this!

The Polar Express (2004)

Does anyone remember watching The Polar Express and thinking how magical the train ride was? This movie is a story about The Polar Express that makes a pit stop in Michigan on Christmas Eve and takes on a boy who is doubtful about the existence of Santa Claus. They explore the meaning of friendship and the wonders of the holiday spirit.

The Christmas Chronicles (2018)

The Christmas Chronicles is a comedy-adventure movie about two children that notice Santa Claus was in their home. Their curiosity led to them jumping on his sleigh for a ride but then crashing it. This meant that all of Santa’s presents were now lost and they had to save Christmas by delivering them on time. Although the movie had mixed reviews, it is needless to say that it’s a classic cheezy movie that has a feel-good story behind it.

Falling for Christmas (2022)

Lindsay Lohan makes an on-screen appearance for the first time in years on Falling for Christmas. She plays a hotel heiress that is spoiled for choice but after a major skiing accident, she suffers from total memory loss. She feels exposed and vulnerable since the accident but a lodge owner helps her get back on her feet.
