Chef May Chow moved her eatery from SoHo to a bigger space at Fashion Walk in Causeway Bay, dubbed Little Bao Diner — and it’s continued to garner fans. Pop in for its signature bao, from classic slow-braised pork belly to jazzy creations like fish tempura with tamarind palm sugar glaze, and the Impossible Bao, which is made with the “meat”-like plant-based ingredient that’s now on the rage. Elsewhere on the menu, there are crowd favorites like truffle fries as well as seaweed and cuttlefish poppers — perfect snacks to accompany post-work drinks.
